How ranking and sponsorship work

1. Accountless sponsorship

Anyone may sponsor an eligible website or public X handle without creating an account or proving ownership. Sponsoring a destination does not create an endorsement, partnership, or ownership claim.

2. Pricing

• A new listing starts at ₹99.
• Targets use whole-rupee increments of ₹1. A recognized owner claim pays only the increase from its current cumulative amount.
• A sponsor without the current claim pays the full new target amount.
• Taking rank one requires a target at least ₹99 above the current leader.

3. Payment and placement

Creating a payment order does not change the board. Placement is fulfilled only after the payment provider reports the payment as captured, its signature is verified, and the payment is applied once. Failed, cancelled, pending, duplicate, or unverifiable attempts do not receive placement.

4. Rank and ties

Higher cumulative paid amounts rank first. When amounts tie, the earlier successful payment ranks first. If both the amount and payment time match, a stable listing-ID order is used to keep results deterministic.

5. Prohibited destinations

Prohibited destinations include:

• adult-content domains and chat or invitation links;
• URL shorteners or destinations that conceal their final location;
• private, local, raw-IP, non-HTTP, or otherwise unsafe destinations;
• malware, phishing, illegal content, impersonation, rights violations, deceptive claims, or content unsuitable for a public leaderboard.

Redirects and fetched metadata remain subject to safety checks. Listings may be flagged or hidden where moderation or legal obligations require it.

6. Browser claim limitation

A qualifying new listing may receive an HTTP-only claim cookie in that browser. The launch version has no account or recovery flow. If the cookie is deleted, expires, or is unavailable on a different browser or device, we cannot recover the claim. The destination can still be sponsored at the full target price.
